IDEA and StuS Ventures sign MoU
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on Thursday between Student to Startup (StuS) Ventures Limited and the Bangladesh Computer Council under the Department of Information and Communication Technology (IDEA) for 'Establishment of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy' project to accelerate the development of startups in different regions of the country.
IDEA project director Mohammad Anwar Hossain and Managing iDrector Ashikur Rahman on behalf of Student to Startup (StuS) Ventures Limited signed the symbolic agreement on behalf of Idea project at its project office in Agargaon ICT Tower, Dhaka.
Senior Consultant Md. Ataul Islam, Consultant and Head of Communications Sohag Chandra Das and Lab Operations and Training Consultant Abul Kalam Ehsanul Azad were also present on behalf of the IDEA project. Besides, Program Coordinators Pooja Sen Gupta and Niloy Ghosh were present on behalf of STuS Ventures Limited.
It was informed that in the light of this MoU, training, mentoring, campaigns and campaigns to increase the skills of startups will be undertaken for the purpose of developing entrepreneurial culture, which will greatly encourage entrepreneurs spread across Bangladesh. Besides, STuS Ventures Limited will provide assistance to the IDEA project in corporate networking, outreach, curriculum development, design and knowledge-based development activities. At the same time STUS Ventures Limited will also work in managing the flagship organization of the Idea project, Bangabandhu Innovation Grant (BIG) and university activation campaign of Startup Compass 2.0.
